Petty Officer Second Class Matt Exter, NSCC received the Daughters of the American Revolution Medal from Susan Zimmer, Regent, San Miguel Chapter NSDAR on 16 February 2006. This medal is awarded to a graduating high school cadet who has demonstrated dependability, good character, military discipline, leadership, and a fundamental patriotic understanding of the importance of NSCC training.
