Petty Officer Second Class Kim Franklin and then Seaman Apprentice LaKera Williams received the 2005 Senior and Junior Cadet of the Year Awards for Coronado Battalion. They were awarded the NLUS Theodore Roosevelt Youth Medal by Teddy Roosevelt impersonator David Markovitz at the 2005 Coronado Council Navy League Ceremony. LC-3 Bonnie Kaspar, NLCC, winner of the NLCC Cadet of the Year Award, was unable to attend, but her father Senior Chief Kaspar, accepted on her behalf.

 

 

 

Petty Officer Second Class Kimberly Franklin was presented the award by California Society Sons of the American Revolution State President Larry Magerkurth.
