The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) ROTC Award is awarded to a graduating high school cadet who has demonstrated dependability, good character, military discipline, leadership, and a fundamental patriotic understanding of the importance of NSCC training. The recipient of the award will be selected and nominated to the local DAR Chapter Regent, who will normally present the award. The award consists of a bronze medal and accompanying ribbon bar. Approval authority is DAR as sole distributor of this award.
